Not so monotone advice that might make your X content stand out more

If you have the balls to apply it...

Give more value.

99% of X is preaching this message.

But what they don’t tell you is…

There's a difference between value & value.

Let me explain…

When people hear the advice "give value" they think about:

  • Tips

  • Tricks

  • Advice

Useful information that solves problems.

That's value.

The one that’s all over the timeline.

And that's great, you know...

Problem-solving content is one of the best kind since it's important for your brand and your audience too.

The problem?

There is too much.

Unless you can provide top-notch value and back every finely crafted word of yours with proof you will not stand out.

But before you start panicking…

Not everything is lost just yet, there's a thing that can help you stand out.

Another form of value.

One that doesn't solve problems - at least not directly.

But still - if you want to stand out…

This one is your best shot.

Any guesses?

No?

It's entertainment.

The way you say things can be valuable too. Sometimes even more valuable than ‘value’ content.

And why is this important now?

Most content is boring. Not that it isn’t useful, it’s just plain boring.

People don’t want to read it.

If you can make your content less boring…

More people will read it.

That simple.

You can do this by…

Telling stories.

If you can tell a great story, even if it has zero value and solves no problems for your reader - he will still feel like the time he spent reading was spent on the right thing.

It will have the same effect on the reader, like giving him valuable advice.

This is because people live and die for emotions.

We want to feel.

And that's exactly what good storytelling does.

It makes you feel emotions.

And if I want to supercharge this?

Combine these 2 types of values.

Entertain your readers with a story and make them feel that story.

That life.

And at the end of your story, give them a lesson, something that solves one of their problems.

Do this and you WILL stand out.

‘Till next time
