one element that makes or breaks your copy

Picture this:

"Finally" - You say as you wipe off sweat from your forehead.

You lean back into your chair with a smirk.

And admire your masterpiece - a notion doc.

"Finally I can do that giveaway I've always wanted to"

You hit that sweet "post" button.

And BOOM. It flops.

"Not again" - you mumble - "The algo is a bitch"

—————————————————

Have you felt some emotions there?

You should have.

But, I could have also written it like this:

—————————————————

You've completed your Notion document.

Now you can begin with the awaited giveaway.

After making a post, it doesn't do so well.

Leaving you to blame the results on the algo.

—————————————————

This one is way more logical.

What do you think, which one would do better?

It's obvious that the first one right?

There are way more emotions.

And the thing about humans is that we aren't logical creations.

We are emotional ones.

We operate on emotions.

Make decisions based on them.

BUYing decisions.

So when it comes to copywriting and making someone buy.

You need to use emotions.

If not two things will happen.

  1. You will bore them to death.

  2. They won't buy

That simple.

Now you want to know how to write emotional copy am I right?

Well, well.

I'm not going to share that kind of information with you...

At least not in this email ;).

But I will give you a resource for emotional writing in general.

'Till next time,
