Are you really that good of a copywriter?

We usually think we are the best.

That’s true for both work and personal life.

We think we are the smartest.

And everyone else around us is an idiot.

Especially as copywriters.

Copywriters(beginners and intermediates) tend to have huge egos.

Like they would have everything figured out.

But this is not the right approach to life.

Nor copywriting.

Just look at all the OG copywriting legends.

How many of them said they are the best?

Because I don’t remember any of them saying something like that.

(Everyone else called them the best, but they rarely said it to themselves)

And they had a very good reason for that.

You have the same reason. You are just ignoring it.

And this is the reason:

They wanted to learn more.

Even if they knew 99% percent of the information about copy.

They still wanted that 1%.

So they stayed humble.

Practiced more and learned more.

And these copywriters earned millions.

So why do you think, that you know everything?

Or that you are the ‘best’?

You are not.

There are people out there who put in way more work.

On the other hand, this shouldn’t make you feel insecure about your growth.

That’s not what I want to do here.

I just want you to remind yourself from time to time.

That you are still not the best. And you still have things you don’t know.

Because that’s the only way you can learn and progress.

‘Till next time
