Spiritual copywriting?
Ever had to learn a shit ton of things for the next day… but your brain just went “adios” and scattered itself all over the place?
Well, that’s exactly what happened to me just yesterday while trying to study for 2 exams that were due today.
(The results of those exams weren’t really… well, let’s just say I fumbled the bad lmao. But that’s a story for another day)
Back to my torturous study session.
I have no idea what was the deal with good ol’ brain yesterday but he must have taken an unannounced vacation or something because he refused to cooperate.
Everything was on my mind besides that damn study material.
For the first hour I tried forcing it and even downed 2 coffees out of sheer desperation… but no. He was stubborn.
Luckily I had one last hope.
One last resort in my Bag o’ Tricks, and that is…
NSDR(Non-sleep deep rest)
Now, you are probably wondering… What in the Dantes's fourth circle of hell is NSDR?
But wait, I will explain everything.
Actually no, I won’t explain shit about this thing because I have no idea how it works, I only know that it works and it works like magic… And honestly, that’s enough for me.
But if you do want to know more about…
I got it from Andrew Huberman’s podcast, you can check it out here.
And oh boy you really should check it out because this thing is pretty darn cool.
In plain English, it’s similar to mediation but you do it while lying down and it puts your body into a state of… well deep rest.
And once you get out of that deep rest which takes anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes(depending on the guide you watch) you will feel like you just took a 4-hour nap.
I’m not even joking.
I use it when I’m short on sleep, or when - just like yesterday - my brain takes a vacation and drags my focus with him day.
Oh by the way, yes, this email has nothing to do with how to write better copy, or how to persuade people.
But it has everything to do with your productivity, because how could you possibly write good copy if your focus is fucked or you are tired?
This thing saved my ass multiple times when I had to make a deadline.
So I hope it helps you too.
P.S.
Once again. Here’s the link.
