This WILL piss poeple off... but it works

I was writing some emails not too long ago.

And as I took a break I sat down next to my girl to take a peek at the show she was obsessed with.

“Bachelor” was the title.

I only caught the end of the episode but it was about 8 or something girls trying to win over a rich man.

Since it’s a TV show… They had the girls sing a song for the man.

If you don’t mind, I will sneak in a spoiler here. I doubt any of you will watch this show, but if you do want to watch it, don’t read this: Those girls couldn’t sing for shit! The best thing I could compare it to is when one of your dumbass classmates in 5th grade starts scratching the chalkboard with his nails…

…Yeh, it’s a great show…

Anyhow, after all the girls sang their songs the man had to pick a winner. One that sang the best and ‘won his heart over’.

Because he had to pick a ‘winner’ the usual TV show buildup has started:

Which basically consists of switching between camera angles and views every 2 seconds and trying to stretch the curiosity factor as long as possible.

Butt.

They did something I hadn’t seen before.

At the peak of the build-up - when they already teased the living hell out of me - the man was just about to reveal the winner:

“And the winner is…”

And the episode cuts off.

Literally just before the man was about to say the name of the winner they said “fook it” and ended the episode.

Now…

The amount of curiosity this created was crazy.

And I’m sure the next episode of the show will have a pretty nice amount of traffic since people can’t help but satisfy their curiosity.

Even I feel like I need to watch that next episode now.

*Sigh*

And I don’t even regularly watch that show.

Whatever, I think I just have to accept it.

This is the power of curiosity.
